I’m now at Hair School!!!!!
Sorry I have been so absent from the Tumblr world. In November I began the year long “Pro Hair” program at Blanche Macdonald. I have been taking full day classes 3.5 days a week and working 4 days a week at my day job as a makeup artist for MAC (I also do freelance work). Between the long hours at school, studying (there is so much more textbook studying in hair school than at makeup school), work, and sometimes sleeping, I just haven’t found time for much else. My schedule should be getting better in the New Year :)
Why am I at Hair School: As a makeup artist, especially on set and in my freelance work, I am often called upon to do a complete look. Although I learned hair styling in my makeup program, I really wanted to be able to offer my clients both services with complete confidence. I absolutely LOVED my experience at Blanche Macdonald in the makeup artistry program so I decided to return and do the hair program. So far it has been great!
